Chicago braces for largest property tax hike in it’s history

And you thought that Lake County, Illinois has high taxes…..now Chicagoland will feel the effects of politicians hiding the costs of pensions amid fancy refinancing and outright manipulation of the budgets.  They are now looking at other taxing games to fix a problem they knew about for the last 10-20 years…on the shoulders of the taxpayers again!  Maybe a question to ask is ‘where did all the money that was supposed to fund these pensions actually go?”Rahm 2
